Technician

Sabrina Scime joined NECE as a Research Associate for the REDI-NET program and now works as a technician in NECE's Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) lab. She previously worked at the Florida Bureau of Public Health Laboratories as a medical laboratory scientist. While there, she utilized NGS technology to sequence COVID. She went to the University of Central Florida for her Bachelor’s in Biology and Biomedical Sciences and recently graduated from the University of Florida with her Master’s degree in Medical Microbiology.
