REDI-NET team members from the Center for Research Computing at the University of Notre Dame joined the lab at the Naval Research Medical Center in Silver Springs, MD to walk-through sample processing and testing standard operating procedures (SOPs) which directly inform the development of a web-based data-entry application that will be used to optimize clean data capture throughout the lab procedures and link it to field collections. The SOPs continue to be beta-tested at locations in Florida, Belize, and Kenya with paper copies of the data collection sheets (DCSs). The DCSs will ultimately be replaced by the mobile application for field data entry and the web-based application for lab data entry.
