Senior Brooke Rodriguez was the recipient of the College of Science - Summer Undergraduate Reseach Fellowships (COS-SURF) grant. She spent 10 weeks this summer conducting research at the REDI-NET University of Notre Dame and Navy Etomology Center for Excellence in Jacksonville, FL. Her activities included tick surveillance, imaging, processing, and testing. Brooke's independent research project explores the added value of using the Biomeme FranklinTM Thermocycler in the current workflow for REDI-NET labs.
