Detection of pathogen nucleic acids (DNA/RNA) has broad applications in infection diagnostics and management. The ability to provide detailed analysis of the DNA & RNA of the host and the pathogens is an important part of the REDI-NET program. The image provides one example output from the Naval Medical Research Center lab beta-testing of the standard operating procedures (SOP) for testing DNA and RNA of both the host and pathogen to ensure optimization of effectiveness and accuracy.
